Welcome to the Maryland Grand Chapter of the Widows Sons, a Masonic Riding Association. We are a group of Maryland freemasons who love and ride motorcycles -- coupled with a common interest in Masonic fellowship and fraternal brotherhood. Motorcycles of all brands and eras are welcome.
We are recognized and supported by the Grand Lodge of Maryland, Ancient Free & Accepted Masons (AF&AM), which is located in Cockeysville, Maryland. Membership is open to all Master Masons who own and ride any motorcycle. There are no restrictions with regard to type or make of their highway legal motorcycle. However you must also be a member in good standing with a regular Masonic lodge recognized by the Grand Lodge, AF&AM, of Maryland.
Monthly chapter meetings vary, by chapter, at differing locations around the state area. Group rides range from short runs to day trips and sometimes multi-day adventures. Our rides usually originate near the Baltimore area, and are typically confined to a 150 mile round-trip circuit to any point of the compass. Longer rides will be planned and announced, along with special charity events, trade shows, etc. Events are planned throughout the year and also posted on our Facebook page.
While we wear identifying patches or regalia, the Widows Sons are not a gang, MC, or a 1% Club. We are required to represent the fraternity in a positive light at all times.
